Well, it's all personal preference obviously, and the microfiber will obviously be a little warmer than cotton, so that's a consideration if you'll be using it in summer a lot. I've tried out several, and my fav is the woven earth tones with chocolate because of its versatility with anything I'm wearing. :) I also prefer the cotton center panels to the silk center panels, because it feels like it gives a bit more support. But to be fair, I've never tried on the microfiber ones.

I see that you have the Moby D. Looks like the woven cotton center? I was trying to decide between that one and the microfiber...would you know the difference in how they are/ or have a recommendation? Thanks.

Actually, it's not an issue of stretching more, but of wrapping around less. So if you're larger, instead of crossing them in back the final time, you can just cross them in front, bring the longer piece around behind you and tie on the side. Also, the regular Moby Wrap is a bit longer than the Moby D.

Thanks for the demonstration! I just ordered one yesterday and I am super excited to try it out.

I have a quick question, though. I had read that it works well for larger people, because of how long it is. But it looked like even you didn't have much fabric left -- and you're MUCH smaller than me! Does it stretch more than it had to in this video?

Yes, I used it during the summer. It does get hot if you're going to be out in really hot weather for a long time. I personally don't take baby out in weather like that for an extended period, though (I'm a hot weather wimp), so it wasn't a problem for me. Most of the time I was using it indoors or for short stints outdoors. If you were going to be hiking in Arizona in July or something, you'd be too hot.
