@afroditapunk I dont know how old you are, but the difference in singing good perfect pitch and harmony from the throat, is no match for singing from the heart and soul like most of the 60’s 70’s musicians did. Today’s “singers” could not make a patch on Janis Joplins ass if they tried, not matter what.

I was blessed enough to have a dad that made me and my siblings sit down and listen to all music styles objectively. I am proud to say that Janis is one of my favorites. She is not everyones cup of tea, but I think that she was great. This song was not in the movie The Rose, that song is called Stay with Me Baby..Bette is my other favorite so I know that one!!
