You are making the huge assumption that all youtube viewers are blatantly ignorant and have no understanding for the World around them. Just because we marvel at the compassion and beauty displayed through the marital kindness this creature shows, does not mean we have no idea of the gruesome environment we live in.

Hate to break it to you, but nature is a lot more fucked up than you can even understand.
-After taking over a pride, male lions will kill all of the cubs under a certain age.
-Chimpanzees have been documented ganging up and murdering other chimps.
-Orcas will take young seals and bat them back and forth as if playing ping-pong.
You keep viewing the world through generalizations and blanket statements though.

I remember watching something when i was a kid, a newborn lion cub had to be left behind , and a leopard came up, and carried it.. but narrator said something like “a leopard cant blah blah blah take care of it or something” and it had to leave it there. I bawled.

There was also a story about a lioness that ‘adopted’ baby deer and tried to look after them, which was sweet, althought most of the babies died in the end…
Unfortunately, when people go out to do these films, they must agree not ot interfere with nature. It’s the natural progression.

So I do not know. Humans are considered animals, because we are mammals.
Lets not get too philosophical about animals taking care of young ones from another race! The camera crew did sit there and watch the baby baboon freeze to death!
In some way, we are like animals. we discriminate differences in people. But in one persons heart, that discrimination over differences, will also occur. Just like the Leopard and baboon. I believe it is called acceptance. No matter what, we are either the leopard of baboon, they would hate each other, but….there is always that possibility species care for other species because us humans, and animals do have hearts.

Sadly… it ended up being someone’s prey. The Lioness was helpless too.
