   I remember seeing something similar with an older girl and she was scared out of her life the first time she heard sounds (with all the reason!)

   I assume you would also look down upon some future procedure that allows people who were born blind to see. Or a surgery that would allow people with CIPA to feel pain.

   Yes, the hearing impaired can function quite normally in today’s world. But this controversy over cochlear implants baffles me. I’d better take off my very thick glasses which allow me to use this laptop.

   @Zeldafan1ify That’s what I thought too at first. She’s actually observing that he had just stopped sucking, then we see him drop the pacifier as a result of having already stopped.

    idk why there are arguments in this video. if deaf ppl are happy their deaf then let them be. but clearly this baby is happy to hear her mother so let the family be. no need for negative comments.
