@jabberwockgee .. people like you halt technology.. if we lived 4000 years ago ud be the douchebag that didnt want to give up the traditional stone tablets..
Thats odd… My daughter has once seen, but never used an IPad, yet she handles magazines just like the girl in the video…
This is very sad… I don’t care how you look at it..
@ThePrincesska25 If you’re going to try to correct someone’s grammar you should at least make sure you’re right. “read to” is correct. “read too” is not.
@iisl33t People today know what life is like without TV/Phone/Cars? Are you just imagining such a world? Kids in the future will also be able to imagine such a world. Do you go camping? Kids in the future will do that too. It’s a shame I didn’t grow up in a world with iPads, which could have accelerated my learning by providing adaptive feedback matched to my abilities, something impossible with a book. It is not a shame you don’t churn your own butter or use a quill pen, is it?
Welcome to the future! For those complaining, remember that real magazines are made of wood paper.
So sad actually.
@ReverendJuice
The tech itself isn’t bad. I use brakes in my car, my phone, and watch TV everyday, but I know what life would be like without them.
The kids growing up nowadays may not. They don’t know what’s it’s like to have to walk everywhere, to have no entertainment, to not be able to contact their friends whenever they want. It’s good that they can now, but I’m just saying that it will be a sad day when people talk about books, and the young one next to you says “What’s a book?”
@iisl33t I might care if you explained your position better. It seems you think that people rely on technology a lot. You think this is bad…why is it bad. You rely on technology with your life every day (brakes in your car). It sounds hypocritical to do that and then condemn depending on other forms of technology.
@ReverendJuice
I care. And way to totally miss my point by the way. I won’t bother arguing further; people like you obviously don’t care or understand, which is a shame.
I hate humanity.
@jabberwockgee First of all its “read too” not “to”. Second of all, Technology does not prevent children from reading it just introduces them to a new type of reading. I had to “read” to understand your comment and there are tons of children’s books that you can “read” on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod. I do not believe that the iPad should replace books but to say that this technology is making us numb is incorrect.
@silvweatest you said the baby “probably isn’t old enough to read yet.” No fucking shit.
@KetchamArtist Who comes to the conclusion that the parents never read to the baby based on a 1 minute video of the baby not being read to?
@jabberwockgee Have you decided that the parents don’t care about the baby because you saw a 1 minute video of the baby not being read to?
@iisl33t Big deal. Who cares? I bet you rely on your brakes in your car too much.
lol how do u film this without laffing?
she is so cute …
that’s so sad… shit parenting
It’s cute. Shut up, trolls
Okay, everyone needs to relax. The baby is probaly not old enough to even read yet, and to be honest he might not have even given her the ipad, kids pick things up all the time if they are left on the table, we dont know that for sure. Also as you can see she CAN turn the pages, and is just to young to relise that it cant scroll, when she gets old enough im sure she will learn how to read books and things like that.. Just relax.
I wonder what reaction a VHS tape would have..
Wah. Steve Jobs didn’t give your daughter an iPad, you did. And just maybe she will be a genius because of it.
@ReverendJuice
Because people are FAR too dependent on technology. If the world went black tomorrow – no cellphones, no iPads, no TVs – the majority would be screwed and clueless. I’m not saying we should limit technology just in case that happens, but people forget their roots too quickly.
omg you guys, she looks like shes having fun with it, its not like shes able to actually use it!
