@1generalk I understand and agree with you completely. No one should get something for nothing. Like yourself, I work hard and pay taxes (albeit, I live in Canada) and I choose not to have children because of the level of personal commitment they require, including financial. So I don`t want to pay for someone else`s kid. But you sounded very racist when you said you hate Mexicans. I am Black, and as a minority, I find that offensive.
imho the first and most likely most important step to decrease poverty is to give women the ability to chose whether they want to have children or not…

Despite these rates, many Republicans are cutting family planning and healthcare for women (especially Planned Parenthood, which takes care of a of low income families). With this news cast and statistics that show we NEED family planning and education….why cut?
Low income families usually need family planning because they cannot afford a child. If they have no access, they have that child, then the child is raised by the gov’t.
Family planning seems to be the less expensive option.

OK, the first time…that was an accident. But the second time? i mean, shit!!! She should have learned a hard lesson with the first pregnancy which kept her from the second child. At some point, you have to take responsibility for your own actions. @TheJapeng Also, if a teenager is told that abstinence is the preferred, and then they ask why, the answer is usually “SEX IS BAD!” But, sex feels good and teenagers think that it’s okay and good to have sex. Why would something that feels so good be bad? They are not given the tools (as the Democrat says in the video, they need the entire toolbox) to objectively look at sex and decide whether or not it is an option for them, as well as deciding if the consequences outweigh the benefits.
Great…I would tripple their welfare and food stamps plus give them a mansion. We should support all of these people. Also I would give every anchor-baby a trustfund worth one-million dollars so they can buy a car and a home to make more babies. We can finance this if we double the taxes for U.S. citizens and cut their social security in half.

The amazing story here is the courage and tenacity of these young women to continue to pursue an education while rearing their children with love. It is amazing that they are willing to speak to other teens about their situation, but it is shameful that the law in Texas prevents any talk of birth control in the schools.
