I was just replying to waht you wrote, i wasn’t the only one who disagreed with you.
And robby robertson is one of my least favourite musicians ever, I bet I could play guitar better than him and I’ve never even touched one. Still love this recording for some reason though.
I wanna hear adam sandler cover bob dylan.
Tch maybe i wasnt thinking about that and it slipped my mind, but you dont have to be such a bitch and scream at me, maybe i was thinking more of how ACDC plays rather then think about all that sad shit. besides, they look like they’re having fun
YOU ARE A FUCKIN MORON
forever young planet waves
i’m pretty sure bob dylan never existed outside of youtube lennon’s cafe. lennon was a horrible russian
If you go through Dylans’s career just on Youtube, you get the impression that by the mid 70′s, he was well and truly on top of his game when it comes to performing.
Check out his performance with “Idiot Wind” (1976) at Fort Collins, Colorado.
he in fact did not write most of the music, it was a combined effort of the band, however for legal issues, they would just use robertson’s name. and then later in life robbie robertson would go on to take all of the royalties, and screw over the rest of the band money wise
You’re on your way, friend.
I agree. My Morning Jacket, The Black Keys, Radio Moscow, Explosions in the Sky, Fleet Foxes etc. Also musicians back then had nothing but the not so distant memory of the great American musical traditions of blues and folk. They updated it and made it faster and more agressive with intelligent lyrics. It’s natural evolution. Kids these days have very little notion of the blues and folk and therefore they can’t produce what these guys did. Dylan himself has aluded to this.
You can google his name, Robbie Robertson, and you should get many hits to read about where he is and what he is doing. You might have to wade through a lot of information, but you should come across your answer.
what has become of robby robertson? who knows
Bob with the heartmelters and Robbie with the facemelters. Gets me every time
You know, I’m not a musician, though I am learning, and I always see people on here asking what’s up with music today. Well, why don’t you go out and make more music like this. They did it then, why not now?
