Why is Sama so awesome?
I don’t exactly understand the interest people have in Ligers and other such mixed animals. Ligers are nothing more than a connection between Lions and Tigers that shows they are in the same Family and Genus, but since the Liger is infertile they are not of the same species. They are basically a living example of how new species can be split from a pre-existing ancestor from which genetics are slighly tweaked to keep inbreeding at bay.
