Strange that pro-”choice”rs are only now seeing the ill effects of abortion as the male : female ratio in India and China is becoming extreme, and the population of Russia can’t even replenish itself. It’s this kind of consequentialist mentality which causes so many grave problems today.
The subjective trumping the objective is precisely the issue here, Father.

A subjective world is logically impossible but, hey – it’s easier to make up your own rules as you go!

  2. ladylejean215 says:

I went to the website and read the actual article….holy crap…..God please have mercy upon us….I swear I wanted to just cry when I read it but I’m at work and can’t sit here at my desk in tears…..

  3. mmmail1969 says:

Two thoughts (as ever, great video):
    1) 3.25-3.35 – Every bank robber operates on the same basis don’t they? 2) That US Supreme Court decision quoted – man-oh-man, and people accuse Christians as believing in “imaginary” things – that decision basically says, any and everything goes!

  4. Bulloxe4 says:

    @ThisRestlessPilgrim
“When does God put a soul into a fertilized egg?
At conception. That is the point where there is the creation of a new creature, new life.”

To give this answer, you have to clarify two things.
    1) What exactly is a soul?
    2) How do you know that the conception is the moment?

  5. DavosMoon says:

I used to think a normal abortion was unfathomable, but I just got a thousand times worse.

  6. shedininja001 says:

what do you think the center of libirity is ?

  7. TheFaithHunter says:

    Shocking

  8. CatandMaster says:

@filthyswit and terminate something like the mystery of human life. It damages us (and I’m not even going to get that theological here) because we are not perfect, when we pretend to have the power to decide right and wrong we distance ourself from the possibility of a nonobjective right and wrong, in other words the order that we all crave. So I guess in conclusion, regardless the scope of the baby’s life, it (at the very least) does some harm to the mother.

  9. ThisRestlessPilgrim says:

@filthyswit “When does God put a soul into a fertilized egg?”

At conception. That is the point where there is the creation of a new creature, new life.

“And why would He put a soul into a fetus He knows is going to be aborted?”

We all will die sometime. Some sooner than others. You could ask why would God bother putting a soul into a child whom He knows will be killed by his mother on his first birthday. Does the shortness of someone’s life directly relate to its importance or sanctity?

  10. CatandMaster says:

@filthyswit Very pertinent arguments. And you got at something deep with future thing. Whatever its humanity at that stage it has the ability of becoming a unique person set in motion. Sperm and eggs might have the “future” of becoming a possible person but in that stage they are incomplete and are not set in motion to develop into life. I think that the biggest problem with abortion, and especially this rather naueseating case, is the damage we cause ourselves when we believe we can define

  11. Naturalhit says:

@MobiusCoin “That being said…babies even after they are born are still not human.”

LMAO… you just won the Darwin Award.

  12. ThisRestlessPilgrim says:

@MobiusCoin “The natural conclusion is that we are not human without the skill of language. That being said…babies even after they are born are still not human.”

Exactly. Depending upon the level of language complexity demanded, you’d effectively remove children at least under the age of two. It doesn’t work.

  13. MobiusCoin says:

@filthyswit Alright, this may just be me playing Devil’s Advocate, because I don’t really like the conclusion either but there is a branch of sociology that believes that what makes us sentient and “human” is our ability for language, giving meaning to words allows us to create abstract meanings beyond the immediate surroundings like animals. The natural conclusion is that we are not human without the skill of language. That being said…babies even after they are born are still not human.

  14. guitardds says:

I didn’t even know this was possible. sick.

  15. claudius860 says:

Wow… Wonder what the other child is going to say to their quote-unquote “…mother…” when they get around to reading this article in just a few short years. I myself am actually the third child of my mother, my two older siblings were aborted…

BTW Father, your “Catholicism” DVD set came in, I am loving them!

  16. exodous02 says:

I’m wondering if they were identical siblings being eliminated, twins have been shown to have an amazing tie, I’m worried how this will affect the surviving child. This is the worst abortion story I have ever heard of, very chilling that parents that want children only want one child and the others in the womb are disposable, it just seems very contradictory to me.

  17. BintoFoShinto says:

That is just… wow. Lord have mercy

  18. s216674 says:

Whenever I think I have heard it all, something like this comes along. Unreal, sick, and twisted all around. The anesceptic language used in the article and by those being interviewed only serves to make it more cold in my view.

Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do…

Forgive us all Lord for not being able to stop it…

    Pax,

  19. KnightOwl2006 says:

    Amen.

  20. XxKingJSxX says:

@filthyswit To respond to your last question, God gives us the option of choice. When a person is faced with a ethical dillema they can either do the right thing or wrong thing. God puts everything in your life assuming you will do the right thing… i suppose.

  21. bsdagf says:

This video was sickening ( the truth of it) how can people kill babies and be fine with it. I guess thats theyre way of burying their guilt for something they know is wrong. I mean they are so afraid of the truth that they have to believe that their choice triumph everything else then how can they call themselves christian? because then they pput their own choices before Gods law which makes no sense

  22. filthyswit says:

If they abort the fetus before it has a conscious it’s almost the same as taking a person in a permanently vegetative state off life support. The only difference is the fetus is a potential healthy human being with a future. But so are unused sperm and eggs. So where do you draw the line?

When does God put a soul into a fertilized egg? Immediately? When the brain forms? And why would He put a soul into a fetus He knows is going to be aborted?

  23. ThereWasADream says:

    O_______________O WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  24. DJDizzy113 says:

Sick. Sick. Sick. Sick. Sick. Sick! It’s bad enough abortions are so prevalent and praised by the media. I feel sorry for the kids. Oh the emotional scarring! God have mercy on us all.

  25. Serge165 says:

@wordonfirevideo – I don’t know what to say, really. as a person on the Autistic spectrum hearing everyday about prenatal testing to get rid of -err I mean neutralize the birth of Autistic children…All i can do is pray, it keeps me from wanting a spaceship off this planet. I now lower my head in prayer
