Where to start? OK, first of all Islam does not forbid contraception. You are thinking of the Roman Catholic Church. Islam is much less prudish about sex. Why do you scoff at the idea of soldiers having access to contraception? Condoms are not the only contraceptive method btw. The pill works. There are patches and shots that last for months. Couples can avoid pregnancy 100% if they are motivated. Really. These are NOT accidental pregnancies.

They can have as much love and comfort as they want so long as they don’t get pregnant. Contraception is effective, and the morning after pill is a good back up. There is no excuse.
If a soldier shoots himself so he can go home he is punished.

No they wouldn’t let me get my tubes tied unless i was 23 or I had 2 children already. And i was neither,But i got pregnant before i was deployed and i wanted that combat patch believe it or not.
If the woman chooses to have sex she makes the choice to become pregnant. We all know that BC can fail so it’s a choice we have to make knowing you can get pregnant. If you are told not to get pregnant you can either use BC and take the chance or abstain and remove all risk.
The same thing happened to me. Got pregnant before deployment. But the state’s laws wont let us get sterilized untill we are 23 or have 2 children already. I was 19 and if I had the choice I would have had my tubes tied at the first chance.
These soldiers must have CONDOMS available! And women soldiers sent to war MUST have birth control pills available, if they plan to have unprotected sex!! But they must keep in mind that they are not sent to war to make babies! What the fuck??!! That’s as dumb as Terry O’Neill’s statement on this video!!
momenabdulla – We have here in the US the HIGHEST LAW of the land: the CONSTITUTION; it’s an outstanding document written by very intelligent people! It gives us (and to every legal foreigner living here) freedoms, rights and responsibilities. Paying taxes is one of those responsibilities!
You can refuse to pay your taxes, but there are consequences, like in any society living under the rule of laws! Don’t pay your taxes => face jail time!

No, i mean thats my point; The soldier who got shot didn’t choose to get shot. And obviously if he does get shot, he wouldn’t be punished. Where as with a women who (in a sane mind) doesn’t want to get pregnant during combat IS punished, despite she didn’t choose to get pregnant.
