Badfinger to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
SIGN THE PETITION!
It was great to see this…..thanks. Brought back some great high school memories.
Any of you kiddies out there that want to be in a band? Can you sing like this..cold..live???
Ahh the most close to my heart song from my youth! So sweet, so special. I had the album and played Baby Blue almost untill it faded off the vinyl.
I couldn’t listen to the song only once, as a matter of fact I just watched the video 3 times, and I may watch it again *G*
And I will be back on a regular basis to watch my boys.
A beatle style ending on that song.Very well done!
this is great music that needs to be played more often by the oldies stations…and did you folks notice that young dude that introduced the group? his name is Kenny Rodgers!!!
one of the greatest bands of the 70s love them
RIP
Sounds like you’re due to make a request.
A superb performance of one of my fav Badfinger tracks. Pete’s lead vocals and Tom’s harmonies are beautiful. Joey used to look a lot like Paul McCartney but with the beard he’s the spit of George!
This is my favorite Badfinger song. I can’t understand why the oldies stations don’t play it more often. I haven’t heard it on the radio in more than 30 years.
And they will live on forever as treasures.
Me too, i think i like it a little better than Mo Matter What. I’m surprised it didn’t get higher than 14 on the charts, but nevertheless still good today–a classic.
It was his show
It is live vocals with a backing track which was done quite often in the 70’s
Say, what’s the story on the audio, here — did they do it with live vocals over a backing-track, or mime it completely, or is it completely live? I doubt the latter, seriously, because I think there’s an acoustic guitar in the sound (presumably that would’ve been Pete Hamm), but if this *is* mimed, it’s a really good job of doing-so. At least they’ve got everything plugged-in and set-up as it should be, if it *were* live. ?????
Brilliant songwriting, no wonder the Beatles signed them to Apple. If you get a chance, listen to Without You, written by Pete Ham and a million times better than Nillson……Sadly missed both Ham and Evans
Yeah life is unfair.
you’re right–never give up hope. you never know what’s ahead. it’s hard sometimes, but try to hang in.
he only checked in to check what condition his condition was in
Awesome sound, for only a four-piece band! Incredible fuzz-tone guitar!
I know how you feel..I had forgot about this song until a part of it was played in The Departed..Those were the days huh? I couldn’t remember the groups name..Finally I got it..Remember the memories? Good and bad? I GIVE ANYTHING TO GO BACK TO THAT TIME…TAKE CARE NOW..BYEE..
Kenny Rogers looks like he dropped a few quaaludes..LOL!!
Better than even any Beatles song–except maybe The Long and Winding Road and I Wanna Hold Your Hand.
