Hi! I have question. This will be my first crochet project, (I’m beginner!) and I could never figure out one thing.

Multiply of 4, and how many extra stitches should I make first?

I was trying 31 stitches as video said, but never finished by 3rd DC. I also checked the picture from your website, was 29 stitches. So would be + 5 stitches? I’m little confuse now, please help!

Hi Teresa, if you use a mulit colored yarn but you still use the instructions as though you changed color? Also how many scains of yarn for a typical baby afghan?

Since the pattern segments are staggered, there will be 2 rows of chain 3′s, 2 rows of chain 4′s. I do have a symbol chart and written instructions posted on my crochet blog that may be helpful. You are welcome to print out the instructions and symbol chart for your class.
