I’m sure she was just curious, all animals can tell whats a treat to them. I don’t think she would have intentionally hurt him.

@AndyHirt How do you know you have bears? Since you believe viewing wildlife through glass to be reckless and dangerous, you certainly would be viewing them from the “safety” of your home, would you. I’ll just assume that your parents let you go to the zoo once and now you frolic with Smokey in person. Much safer than the public zoo. I don’t even want to address the engineer comments, but out of curiosity, how do you avoid engineer-approved items? Do walk to work and refuse to cross bridges?

@RaeFalk You, obviously, live in a city. Bears are all over the GD place. One just went through my composter. I saw one two weeks ago as well; I heard the coyotes ripping a rabbit apart at 4 a.m. last week. Have you ever heard a rabbit scream or coyotes bay as they’re tearing it apart? I thought not. As to the engineering comment. I work with engineers; they’re morons. Oh, you forgot the “you” in “Do walk to work and refuse to cross bridges?” You must be an engineer.

@AndyHirt Sorry baby but you’re just overreacting…The child isn’t even old enough to remember the event. And just because you have bears in YOUR backyard doesn’t mean they do. And i’m pretty sure that zoo has been up for years and thats probably not the first time the lioness has done tht plus it’s not like the lion was TRYING to apply force in order to break the glass…So quit overreacting enjoy the damn video.
