Baby Videos of The surprising, nonetheless heart-breaking finale to What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
the image perceived is that Jane starved Blanche for more than a week, and without food and water, well you probably won’t last more than that without water. Blanche says she’s dying, so it assumes that she probably died when Jane went for ice cream? I wish they had made a part 2.
shes can now rest in peace, is confessed.
I think this ending is magnificent. Almost the whole movie takes place in a dark, scary house. Ending it on the beach is somehow surprising and fresh. And the confession scene is very emotional. I like to think that Blanche is alive as well but policemen’s body langauge is unfortunately different. But she didn’t deserve to die that way.
Bette Davis was powerful in that sequence mostly because it’s so different from previous scenes.
It’s up to the viewer to determine that unstated fact
I like to think she survived. After all, she survived the accident so why not starvation? lol
What! how could it end like that? Did she die or what?
Wow. I love this movie so much.
Crawford and Davis really despised each other in real life. So all through the movie, their hatred of each other in reality fueled their hatred of each other in the film.
When Blanche puts her hand on Jane at 6:52 you can see that she does feel guilty and that she cares for her sister. And Jane’s facial expressions when Blanche is telling her what really happened was really good acting on Bette’s part. The story of the Hudson sisters is sad, but at least in the end we find out that deep down they really do love each other. That line “You mean all this time, we could’ve been friends,” is heartbreaking. And Jane looks so much prettier in this scene! Even younger…
Who is they?
Why was I given a thumbs down? I was referring to papaosj’s comment. Not the actual movie. This movie is great!
Probably because people are looking up sunbathing, people running about wouldnt notice and if people did see them they probably wouldnt notice them as being the Hudson sisters.
How come no-one notices them on the beach!?
04:28-04:31 Brilliant Acting By Bette Davis.
Lmao “Gay Ending”
Both were the victims. Of each other.
I agree that Blanch shouldn’t have died. I’m not sure if Jane should have, but Blanche shouldn’t have. Which really leaves you wondering what Janeplans to do with the rest of her emptylife. And maybe Blanche didn’t die after all…
Technically, that’s not really Blanche’s true nature. It was her payback for all the cruel things Baby Jane did to her. In reality, the two of them aren’t really bad people. Just kinda nuts
The is the best ending of a movie that i ever seen:
* Baby Jane finally got to perform in front of a live
audience.
* It show the Baby Jane’s true nature is that of a good person, while Blanche’s true nature is full of dishonesty and deceit.
* It makes one realize how he can create his own misfortunes
wonderful
omg, 4:50 gives me the willies.
I would love to know the name of the music played on the radio.
0:17-0:28, 0:43-0:53
she’s HOT! whoever the girl is!
love the legs and the abdomen!
It depends on your view of what you expected in the end. I think Baby Jane should’ve died, not Blanche. And don’t call me retarded…because obviously you need to respect my opinion on it. Get over the fact that not everyone likes the same things you do. K? K….bye.
My god, are you that thick? Watch what happens on the beach in the last scene retard!
If i were playing Jane I would have handled the scene differently, but davus gives a really fantastic performance
That was before I made you ugly.
